I started my accounting life in 1977 by taking the Bookkeeping Course at Assiniboine Community College. After having children in 1993 I took a refresher at the Morden College called Automated Office Systems which included secretarial and computerized accounting using Bedford. I started my own business doing bookkeeping and desktop publishing. I also taught Simply Accounting at Red River. In 1997 I started taking my Certified General Accountant courses. I worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Finance Officer and a Controller. In 2004 I decided I wanted to work on my own and started my own business. I do income taxes, bookkeeping and training using Simply Accounting, Quickbooks and Accountedge.
