We need more organic growers to keep up with all the organic eaters out there! If you're serious about organic farming as a business or career option, or want to transition your existing operation to organics, check out our organic links and the vast library of growers’ resources in the Manitoba Farm Mentorship program archives.

The Farm Mentorship Program no longer exists. However a social enterprize, Small Farms Manitoba, has been started by Kaylinn Spain. This is not an organic program, but picks up much of what the Farm Mentorship Program was promoting. Small Farms Manitoba serves to bring together farmers and consumers interested in direct marketing.

Even if you're not considering a career choice in organic growing, we've pulled together a selection of resources that we think you'll find really helpful. Whether you're an urban backyard gardener or a rural dweller with a small patch of land; you are farming, and we want to make organic growing a rewarding experience for you.
