Become a Mentor

You use organic or environmentally sustainable farming techniques, focus on local or regional markets, and know the value of taking time to pass your skills on to the next generation of farmers. You are looking for interns who are serious about farming in Manitoba.

You play a very important role in farmer training, and we couldn't do our job without you! We connect our mentors with many opportunities to network with other farmers and to increase the strength and viability of sustainable food production in Manitoba.

bkehler Here's what our mentors are saying:

"MFM has given us a ton of resources that we have not even had time to read through or watch yet. I find MFM a true asset for intern-mentor relationships and learning, and absolutely love working with them."

"Thanks for your support of our farm."

"Our experience this year has been - well, fantastic! Having an intern that took Exploring Your Small Farm Dream is highly recommended."
